They have been specially designed to be very easy and quick to assemble with none of the usual woodworking skills required. Made in Australia from high-quality materials on state of the art, computer-controlled machinery, they look great and will perform for year and years. Whether your location is a home’s backyard or a city rooftop, Next Hive™ opens the fascinating and rewarding hobby of beekeeping making it approachable affordable for everyone.

The modular elements that make up the hives are fully interchangeable with any standard 10-frame, full-depth Langstroth hives. The inner steel frame parts are made from high quality galvanised sheet steel. All of the wooden parts are manufactured from marine grade plywood. Whilst marine ply has been selected for its outdoor suitability and durability, the finish of the ply parts is left to the beekeeper. We recommend a water-based paint or water-based clear finish for best results. Assembly is quick and easy with these simple to follow instructions.
