Tuscan De Luxe Combo with powder coated lid and entrance cover

Inspired by the beautifully crafted hives found in the Tuscany region of Italy, our Tuscan range combine charm with functionality. The entrance is protected from the elements by the angled roof panel. The base is integral to the 10-frame-full depth super. The upper 10-frame, full-depth super is completed with the all-steel Next Hive™ lid powder coated in ‘Classic Cream’ colour to match the baseboard.

Included in this combo is the unique and innovative Next Hive™ entrance cover. This is held in place with four small and discreet rare earth magnets that are flush-mounted in the front face of the Tuscan base. In the open position, it presents three entranceways into the hive. When pulled from the magnets it is freed and can be inverted and put back in place which now provides a ventilated closure to the hive that will withstand road transportation. This feature is great when you need to shut the hive off for any reason.

This combo is also supplied with 20 x full-depth frames that have been made from pine in china and come pre-wired with stainless steel wire, brass eyelets and nailed wires. Nailed and glued they are high quality and will remain tight because the wires are nailed rather than twisted in place as is the case with some cheaper frames. They are also pre-embedded with wax foundation.

This ready to roll out package also includes the sturdy and practical moulded base with stainless steel frame supports and the stainless-steel queen bee excluder.
